GoCheat! is a high-quality, user-friendly cheat codes search engine. Like other search engines such as Google and Lycos, we have a crawler that visits sites and indexes them in a database. We first launched our site in February 2000, and recently revamped our cheats engine.

Our site revolutionizes the way you find cheat codes. Have you ever start browsing a cheat site, only to find that it doesn't include a cheat for the game you are trying to beat? Compare GoCheat! to Other Cheat Search Engines

What makes GoCheat! so great is that it uses a new technology for search querying. This new technology can actually accept abbreviations and even correct mispelling. For example:

Say you're looking for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater cheats. In a normal search engine you would have to type something like, "Metal Gear Solid 3 Cheats" to get correct results. At GoCheat! you can just type "mgs3 cheats", "mgs3", "metal gear", "metal gear solid 3", or "metalgearsolid3". And even a misspelling will work (i.e. "metla grear slid 3"). Whatever you want. All of those searches will bring up cheats for Metal Gear Sold 3: Snake Eater.

All of the other cheat search engines only index cheat sites that link back to them, and base search results on how much traffic cheat sites are sending them. We feel this is biased. The sites we index in our search engine don't have to link back to us. We arrange search results by cheat ratings and if the site is user-friendly (doesn't have popups/spyware). The other cheat search engines arrange search results by how much traffic their affiliates send them. Our search engine is focused more on quality, while the other engines tend to be based more on quantity. A good cheats search engine only needs 10-15 high-quality cheat sites to index, any more than that means users will see a lot of the same cheats (duplicates) on different sites.

We also give our users information on links we provide, and the annoyances they may encounter, such as pop-up ads and spyware. Although most of the sites we index don't include these annoyances, a few do, and we want our visitors to have that knowledge.

In addition, GoCheat! lets visitors rate all of the cheats on our site. This way, other visitors will know which cheat links are the best. Each cheat is rated on a scale of 1-5 stars, and the ratings are shown in the search results.
